Evermend · Sydney

We build companies with AI — and we buy ones that already work.

Evermend is a venture studio and holding company. We create new AI-powered service businesses, and we acquire profitable Australian companies so owners can exit or step back — while we improve how the business runs.

What we do

Two ways we grow serious businesses.

We are operators first. Whether we build from scratch or buy a going concern, the goal is the same: a stronger, cleaner, more reliable company.

Pillar 01

Acquisitions + AI

We buy profitable Australian businesses — typically with EBITDA between A$500,000 and A$5 million — where the owner wants a full or staged exit. We keep what works, invest in people and systems, and apply practical AI to recruiting, compliance, reporting and customer follow-up.

  • Built for owners, brokers and advisors
  • Confidential from first conversation
  • Long-term hold mindset, not a quick flip

Pillar 02

Venture studio

We create and validate new companies in real-world service industries. Ideas are tested with customers before we commit serious capital. When something works, we operate it — and only then consider spinning it out under its own structure.

  • Industry partners welcome
  • Cheap validation before build
  • Shared operating method across companies

What we look to acquire.

These are guidelines, not a checklist. If the business is close and the people are right, we still want to hear from you.

The process

How we work with sellers.

Selling a business is personal. We keep conversations confidential, move at a sensible pace, and respect the people who built what you have.

  1. 01

    Quiet first chat

A confidential conversation — with you or your advisor. No pressure, no public listing required.

  2. 02

    NDA & high-level review

We sign an NDA, then review headline financials and the story of the business.

  3. 03

    Indicative terms

If it fits, we put forward clear, indicative terms so you can decide whether to proceed.

  4. 04

    Diligence & completion

Proper diligence, fair documentation, and a transition plan that protects staff and customers.

How we improve

Practical AI — from our own operations.

We do not sell magic. We apply tools we already use in businesses we operate: less admin, faster follow-up, clearer compliance, better reporting.

SMS recruiting & rostering

In Australia, SMS reaches frontline workers better than apps most people ignore. We use it to recruit, confirm shifts and keep compliance records tidy.

Compliance & training

Licences, inductions and tickets tracked in one place so managers know who is cleared for the job before they arrive on site.

Reporting & follow-up

Quotes, lead follow-up and weekly numbers that land without chasing spreadsheets — so owners and managers see the business clearly.

Honest note We only claim improvements we practise ourselves. Every acquisition is different; we agree priorities with management after completion.

Venture studio

How we create new companies.

New ideas stay inside the holding company until they prove themselves. We validate cheaply, build only what customers pay for, and operate before we spin out.

  1. 01

    Idea

Find a real gap in a service industry we understand — time wasted, customers lost, or work done the hard way.

  2. 02

    Validate

Talk to customers and run a small paid test before committing serious time or money.

  3. 03

    Build

Brand, offer and operating systems — including the AI workflows that remove busywork.

  4. 04

    Operate

Run it ourselves. Improve weekly. Keep it under the holding company until it earns its own structure.

  5. 05

    Scale

When the vertical works, grow locations, services or partners — with capital only when the numbers support it.

FAQ

Common questions.

Will you keep our brand and staff?

Where it makes commercial sense, yes. We prefer to keep a strong brand, retain key people, and agree a transition that customers barely notice. Every deal is different; we write it into the plan.

Do I have to leave on day one?

Not necessarily. Many owners prefer a staged handover — weeks or months — so knowledge transfers cleanly. Some stay longer in a reduced role. We design this with you.

How confidential is the first conversation?

Fully. We are happy to start under an NDA. We will not contact your staff, customers or competitors without your written permission.

Do you work with brokers?

Yes. We welcome introductions from business brokers, accountants and advisors. Fees and mandates are respected.

What does “improve with AI” actually mean?

Concrete workflows we already use: SMS-based recruiting and confirmations, compliance tracking, lead follow-up, quoting support and clearer weekly reporting. Not facial recognition theatre — practical ops.

Is Evermend a private equity fund?

No. Evermend is an operator-led holding company and venture studio. We do not market a blind pool to outside LPs on this site. Acquisitions are pursued with our own capital and, where agreed, co-investors on a deal-by-deal basis.
